My name is Ursula, From Richmond Va. Just finished cycling a new 29gal tank, 1st tank since very early 1980's, Boy alot has changed over the years. Concidering my first tank was in 1967 an old metal framed 10 gal. Back then you just knew to do ALOT of water changes! Hey I was11 years old and got my fish from Ben Franklin 5 and Dime. Sorry to you younger folks! Ready and willing to learn the new tricks of the trade.

There are some good people here and a lot of info to soak up!
Ask questions and someone is sure to answer. The only dumb questions are the ones you don't ask!
Becareful though some of them can get a little crankie! :lol2:

Welcome, Power to the Newbies! I think the majority of folks initially had tanks then for whatever reason got out of it, but like the Siren's call we all eventually come back...me too...

She sang and I followed like a child in need. The only problem I have is it's addictive! At least I'm handy and can do alot of DIY projects for cheap. I'm building a hood with 2 T8 6500 24" and blue and red LED for moon effects for under $30.00. Should be finished with it sometime next week. She sang strong when she sang to me!:lol2:
