Just getting back into to fish hobby. Freshwater only! Have just discovered Betta fry in the bubble nest - woo hoo! Enjoy aquabid as a resource for fish and information. Currently have 20g L with Swordtails and Corys, 15g H Community Tank, 2g Gold fish vase w/ driftwood, and several (dozen) 1g enclosures with mostly plants and inverts. The Swords, Endlers, Guppies, and now Bettas have fry. Want to try a planted tank soon.

I don't see his "from" information; I guess he decided to remove it. You guys must have scared him with all those references to how close you all live to him :)

Edited to add "Hmm, OK, it is in the title" :v8:

I do know how to net, I really enjoy it as a matter of fact. The problem is that I'm 5 hours away from the nearest place to find those. This summer I might be able to find some time :)

The captions at the bottom of the fish pictures say the Red River, which is right there near Portland. Also, it's shallow enough there to wade and net fish. The dots right at the state line may be the Red River again near Port Royal, TN, the river's a little deeper there, but maybe you can net some in places. If the dot is at Clarksville where the Red River dumps into the Cumberland, it's too deep and swift to wade and net. I grew-up on the Red River and would have my net in my hand right now if I weren't so old. BTW, Pete what are those fish worth?
