Enter the Ninja, Or how I got boned

:neutral: Well, Kinda boned anyway.I bought a couple Blue tiger shrimp from on of one of my very well known & respected fish shops today.at least thats what they told me they were & as they were blue &I was working from memory of what they should look like everything seem good. Well when I bought them & brought them home they looked like this.

Sooo, I went to planet Inverts.com Wich BTW is where I got the first pic & went thoughr the species until I found they ones that matched. Aperently they are called Ninja Shrimp & they change colors!! Unfortunatly they are also like Amono shrimp in the fact they breed in Salt water.CRAP! :grrr: I think I paid like $16 & change for the 2 of them. Not sure if thats a good price for ninjas but hey live & learn.

Ninjas are cool, but if you bought them with intent to breed....not so cool. I like them. I have amanos around just to help clean up the community tanks, those and SAE's.....sorry you got burned, but they are still a cool shrimp, you may have overpaid for them too though........

they may not be exactly what you thought you were getting but they are still so cool in the fact that they change colors, how many people have those kind of shrimp, lol

ble tiger shrimp are a blue color and normaly have orange eyes there are even blond orange eyed tiger shrimp and they will give blues also they have a blue to black body with dark stripes on them
