I don't have too much to say for myself by way of introduction*, I'm 26 and living in a room that is quickly running out of space between the cages and tanks. That makes it sound like there's more than there is, it's actually just a very small room with two 29s, the obligatory empty tanks, a 10 currently inhabited by a pair of gerbils, and a giant cage full of rats.

I work in a pet store so when I'm not obsessing over horses or rats, my conversations most often revolve around trying to get people to understand why I won't sell them a goldfish for their half-gallon bowl, or 10 neon tetras for the ten gallon tank sitting in their cart. Fun times indeed. Needless to say I'm always happy to get to talk with people who know their stuff, though I'm generally hopeless with a lot of the technicalities.

I am totally enamored of extremely small fish, gobies, and puffers, though currently don't keep any of the latter two, and am basically a noob when it comes to plants, but have managed to maintain a planted tank by hook or crook, (though it's not much to look at right now since I am doing some remodeling.)

I don't have any pictures of my current set ups, but if anybody wants pictures of my rats, I have no problem with picspamming them :D

Welcome to the boards! I, too, love small fish, having gazed longingly at Pete's auctions for all his rare finds. I gotta stop by there sometime. I, too, worked in the pet store for a couple years. I remember, fondly, talking to people who knew about fish and then dealing with the ones who"thought" they knew! And, I had a few rats in my day, too. I don't think my girlfriend would appreciate me bringing one home now though! They really are great animals.
I filled my spare bedroom with tanks, breeding crowntail bettas. Anywho- welcome again!

I've got lots of itty bitty fish too! Mostly rasboras and danios of different kinds. No rats here but if you spend time obsessing about horses, I've got six of them and I'm always happy to talk about them!

What kind of goats do you have? I have nubian/boer crosses and they are fantastic pets and weed eaters!

As for horses, my obsessing over them is currently at low levels, but I'm going to be getting bac into my lessons soon so that will probably change. and goats are adorable, but troublesome, and I don't think my dog, parents, or neighbors would apprecitae them much :D
