So from what I can gather is they slipped this into a bill last minute. Prevents the transportation of live animals into the US and across state lines. Doesn't matter if you are just buying to bring home, transporting because you are moving, ect. It is a blanket for all things and only white listed things are allowed. This would include dogs and cats. Things like fish, lizards, no. There are a few species of fish that will be listed but for the most part, no.
The short of it is, the pet industry would be locked down, almost completely. Not a little bit. Not kind of. Breeding would cease, distribution would cease, the market in other countries would be put into a stand still crashing their economy based on it.
I would love to sit here and say "it's being over blown, over hyped", its not. This is a serious threat to all things in the pet world.

So AB could go the way of the dodo bird? Another fine thing we get from our Congress. Wonder if Mark will have a work around???

Well If this is true about selling fish and the like. I wonder how some of the big online sellers are going to handle this. Maybe a few can post there thoughts, We once has had a vibrant crew selling stuff, there are still a handful I see in the various categories. If this is true a lot of folks are going to need a new business model. PETA must be overjoyed....

ID:	2019 Funny there are crickets from the sellers about this. Paypal probably takes out sales tax from the payments they process from buyers ? Sellers I guess they are going to continue as they did before. Honest sellers will report income over $600, others will not. I wonder if somehow AquaBid could bear some responsibility in this collection effort or reporting it.

thank you very much for bringing this info to us.
You can bet just even thou it is buried in some back pages it will not be dragged out and used to stop some of you from selling. Now that is Progress. Seems like if this is signed into law. Things in the fish trade will be a bit harder, if even possible to have in in America. Might want to learn how to knit...

Father Fish on youtube has a number videos on it. If you decide to watch them I suggest 1.25 playback speed or even 1.5x . I don't mean any offence by this. I watch most videos at this speed that I am only after the information in them.

Final update. Looks like this bill was finally shot down. Stalled out and fizzled out, as politics do. Was very weird it was randomly added to an unrelated bill last minute. Advise everyone to keep an eye out. Likely won't be the last attempt. For now though, this one has flatlined.
