I want to share a few new happenings in my world. I sold my place in Upstate NY last month. Bought a small used
camper on Oneida Lake outside of Syracuse. This place is about 1 hr closer to my NJ home. I had fished it several
times over the years, great lake for smallmouth bass.... my favorite freshwater opponent. I also used some of the
proceeds to buy a new truck 2019 Chevy Colorado Z71 was a left over. Great deal. To bad I have a few more
months before I really get into tackling the fish. Plan on making a few mods to the truck. Again the cold has me
confined inside to ponder and spend money. My days of ice fishinbg are long since past. Hands and feet can't take
    it...

Here are a few pics of the truck. Camper pics still on my phone. will transfer to computer and send later.

          John,
I wish I had the funds to own something on Lake Erie. They have the best and biggest SMB on average. My personal best came from that lake.
6lbs 7oz. Took several trips there over the years the lake was a short(65miles) from my other house in Honeoye Lake.

We catch some large smallies on our lakes here but we slay them on the White and Buffalo river junction in Buffalo city. Catching them in a good current is phenomenal. I decided to start taking more time off work this spring and summer after losing my wife to a 12 year battle with cancer and get back to enjoying the things in life before its too late. I also bought a 2012 pickup and been on the lookout for a nice fishing boat to take advantage of our great local fishing resources.

                  Bob,
sorry about your wife. Yes get out there more. It is just what I did after my wife past in 2008. I also do a lot of smallie fishing in the rivers in NJ.
Yes NJ we are not just highways and oil refineries. I am blessed to be in the center of some great trout, bass.and walleye fishing in those
rivers and streams. Most of the same stuff works there just as it does in lakes.

I fish for river smallie's when the trout are off the bite. One helluva fight in swift water!
